Since the year 2000 Marie-Therese Harnoncourt and Ernst J. Fuchs work under the name "the next ENTERprise-architects". Their futuristic projects play with the coincidental and the unpredictable; break up the rules of sheer functionality to generate additional value for the future occupants and to cater to the needs of them. Concepts, which spatially anchor future elements, are the main topic in the work of tnE. The wide spectrum of architectural projects ranges from experimental installations and urban planning to socio-spatial housing concepts. The next ENTERprise-architects joined numerous international exhibitions such as the Architectural Biennale in Venice, Archilab Orleans and the Bienal de Sao Paulo. Various executed projects, for example "Seebad Kaltern", "Wolkenturm" or "Haus Zirl" were awarded with various prizes and nominated for the "Mies van der Rohe Award".
